Thread binding
Thread binding is a process in which, by sewing the pages, a complete product is assembled – notebooks, books, luxury catalogues… this type of assembly allows the product to be constantly leafed through, providing it with strength and a much longer life. This service is often combined with heat bonding, which reinforces the strength. Through it a hard or soft cover is attached to the product.
Through it a hard or soft cover is attached to the product. At GPTS, we are proud to own one of the few machines in Bulgaria performing this service. The maximum size it works in is 460 x 460 mm, and the minimum size is 150 x 100 mm. The maximum speed is 50 cycles per minute, thanks to its twelve groups of needles.
